We join all of you in following the “Stay home, stay healthy” order from the Governor to protect our Puget Sound Community from the Coronavirus Pandemic.
As co-directors of ISDI, we are committed to continuing to provide the strategic direction and valuable education we are known for to our DEI community.
Here are the actions we are taking:
We are working with our host Sponsor for how we deliver the 2020 Series in the event we are unable to resume normal operations this year
We also are currently scheduling conference calls with all our Sponsors and Strategic Partners about the 2020 Series
We are holding conference calls with presenters of upcoming sessions to determine alternative ways to deliver their valuable content so that we respect social distancing and gathering requirements
We are also exploring other ways ISDI can support our DEI community in the Puget Sound Region.
We very much miss meeting you in person—the powerful face-face opportunities we have to learn how to make our organizations more inclusive. Now, in spite of the fact that social distancing and working from home keeps us apart, we are committed to finding virtual ways to keep us connected and motivated to continue learning and growing together.
Keep the faith, stay positive, breathe, exercise safely, and sing! More to come!
Barbara and Effenus, and the entire ISDI team
