We are sorry you missed this event! Gather a group and watch the recording!

This Special Event introduced universal design principles in everyday settings along with simple ways to apply them at work and in personal relationships. In this session, disability advocates and professionals shared firsthand knowledge on their experiences with accessibility through universal design and why disability inclusion is crucial to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Breaking Barriers, Building Pathways: Creating inclusive workplaces through universal design challenged biases and ableist thinking to start you on the pathway to creating disability-inclusive and accessible experiences for employees, teammates, community members, and audiences.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month,

but disability inclusion and accessibility in the workplace are critical year-round.

Enjoy these handouts & resources from the event!
